According to the law of Moses, Every first-born male shall be consecrated to the Lord. An old gentleman having looked at Jesus said to Mary, "now I can die a happy death". And added, "and a thorn shall pierce your heart, too, Mary."

Finding in the TempleThe Finding in the Temple

The Blessed Mother finds Jesus in the Temple.

On the third day of their journey, they found Jesus was missing from their party. They went all the way back to the town they had left, and finally came upon Him in the temple sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. When Mary told Him they had been searching for Him, Jesus said, 'Did you not know that I'd be in my Father's house'?" (Luke 2;46)
